Line A starts at the bus terminal Nonntal and leads via Kajetanerplatz – Kaigasse – Mozartplatz – Residenzplatz – Alter Markt – Sigmund-Hafner-Gasse – Max-Reinhard-Platz – Hofstallgasse …to Karajanplatz and back. Hours of operation: Monday through Saturday, from ca. 8.30 am to 6.00 pm; 45 min. intervals.
The regulations of the Salzburg Traffic Association (Salzburger Verkehrsverbund, SVV) apply. Single trip fee is currently 1 € (short range). All other SVV fees and advance sale tickets (Kernzone) are valid on Line A as well.
Currently a disability-friendly Mercedes Sprinter is being used, offering 17 seats and 13 standing places. It provides room for a wheel chair or a buggy and features a ramp for wheel chair access.
During the course of the year this vehicle will be replaced by natural gas-powered city busses.
